The Secrétariat à la jeunesse: Why?

I hesitated a long time before applying to become a member of the secretariat. The reason? Just that I did not feel challenged. I had no interest in what the Secrétariat was offering. That's when I realized that the Secrétariat à la jeunesse is us. A structure by and for young people. In this sense, if what was proposed was not for me, I had to suggest other things.

I will not hide the fact that what really interests me is the arts and everything related to culture. After all, I am a multidisciplinary artist and First Nations cultural and community development officer for the northwestern francophone school district (yes, I know that the title is long ... the job is more fun than the title, I tell you 'assures).

I explained in the questionnaire of the Secrétariat à la jeunesse (which you should take the time to read, to know a little more about the members) that I wanted to help develop more cultural things in my area. Make it shine a bit more artistically. But I will not be able to do this alone! I can speak loudly, but I must have something to say. This is where you have to participate!

The members of the Secrétariat are just megaphones.

I decided to get involved because I believe in our region. I chose to stay in the area because I believe in its development. If you are here, to read these lines is that you believe it too. Get out of the shadows a little!

The Secrétariat à la jeunesse? Why? Because we have finished waiting for the change to happen. Must provoke it! Me, I'm ready ... well, I think, anyway. But I wish we were more to put the shoulder to the wheel. I'm still friendly, sometimes. In my opinion, we could do beautiful things and surprise more than one. Do you feel like it?

Bring us the ideas. We will take care of the means.

Chow the pompinos!
