New Vision for the Secrétariat à la jeunesse d’Edmundston
In a continually evolving approach, the Secrétariat à la jeunesse, to fulfill its mandate, must keep pace and innovate continuously. In this sense, the members of the board of directors wondered: What is our mandate? What do we have a vision for Edmundston?
In trying to answer these questions, they realized that the target audience of the organization did not meet the needs of the City of Edmundston. The Secrétariat à la jeunesse needs to work to reach out to young people in the region and to show them that Edmundston is a great place to live. By imposing itself a group of age, that is from 18 to 35 years old; the organization complicated the life. If we want to make the youth shine, would not it be good to include all the youth? If we're going to show young people that Edmundston is a magnificent region to set up, would not it be better to start showing it from childhood?
For this reason, the mandate of the Secretariat has changed! We will now focus on the youth of all ages. Even better, to make our region more radiant, we will work with young people and young people at heart!
Not only do you have to stand out to succeed, but you also have to be inclusive. In our opinion, the development and valorization of a region are not done alone, and intergenerational interactions are more than necessary.
Your projects, our projects!
Always in the idea of giving even more visibility to the young people of the region, the Secretariat came up with the idea of offering showcases to a youth, a school or an organization working with youth. You can submit your projects or achievements to email@example.com so we can talk about you! Also, in the same vein, we will choose an initiative per month to put it at the top of our pages on social networks, and the person (group or school) to be selected will receive a visit from the Youth Secretariat with a little surprise.
In hoping that you will join us in the outreach of our beautiful region.
