Meet more than 800 school-age youth to discuss community engagement and imagine their city in order to get their idea for Imagine Edmundston to make sure the next municipal development plan reflects the vision of youth.
Established the "J'Imagine Edmundston" camp where mini-ambassadors had the chance to create projects submitted by the citizens. "J'imagine Edmundston", who is in charge of the "Minions" standpipes or a balloon gum machine, community piano, street games, "Brassons des Idées" day with foam party inflatable games and the day when winter sports were honored directly to Downtown ... Who would have thought to see a snowpark in downtown Edmundston? 🏂
Consulted with Tribu Expérientiel (Micah Desforges) to evaluate the option of having a larger-than-life activity in Edmundston.
Continued to advance the Skate Plaza project with the committee and our development officer. The plans are expected to be approved in the coming weeks and the next phases will be unveiled to the public this spring at the latest. 🛹
Supported the "Two Pieces in 90 Minutes (or so)" initiative, a one-of-a-kind theater evening. A group of twenty young people between the ages of 14 and 20 presented "13 Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview "and" Never Swim Alone ", two short English plays played one after the other.
Recognized beyond 200 young leaders, from 8 schools in the region thanks to
the Leaders of Tomorrow initiative will be back in 2019.

Launch the Skate Plaza fundraising campaign to be completed no later than in 2020.
Continue to meet young people in schools to educate them about different topics. The Leaders Recognition Evening tomorrow will also be back to recognize our second year in a row.
Engage youth, community and government stakeholders in development and implementation of models, strategies, and projects to short, medium and long term that will form the Roadmap for Youth 2020 to 2030.
Organize an activity to highlight our local youth artists and artisans, while realizing a long-standing project of one of them ... #diy
